At some point around 1959-1960 it was returned to the factory for extensive work and was issued replacement chassis # 12278. The chassis stamping on the front bulkhead shows both numbers. The car received a twin grill rear deck and \B\" style steering column and shifter. It was raced extensively in the early 60\'s. The previous owner purchased it on the west coast and had it cosmetically restored in 1980. Myron uses the car as a sunny day driver with motor #90707, the same engine it has had for approximately 40 years. " |
