| Remarks owner: | This is a restoration project in process.This car is complete..engine , transaxle, shifting gear, steering gear, steering column, front & rear suspension, pedals,throttle & clutch controls.,gas tank, shut-off, braking system with Carerra Ft. brakes, electical system,wiring harness, all new lighting including SEV Marchall headlamps, instruments with new bezels & gone through, turn signal switch, ignition switch, original keys, wiper assembly, heater controls, headlight switch...all of it. Engine is a 1600 Super that has been gone through 4000 miles ago and has been cosmetically restored. Transaxle has had new axle bearings installed & needs cosmetics..platting of fasteners etc. Originally came with car. Body has been stripped down to bare metal and a complete new European floor pan installed with correct factory spot-welds throughout. It was replaced due to floor jack use...not rust. This is an original California car with no rust in the longitudals or anywhere else. The body panels are number matching 909 throughout. In the process of fitting newly fabricated factory duplicate nose panel and right and left fenders and battery box. the doors are complete with locking and latch mechanisms & hinges. Convertible top frame is complete along with winsheild and chrome pillars,upper and lower chrome frame halves. side curtains are comlete with mounts. Steel seats with all tracks and new seat rail mounts. In the process of assembly is a new Fibersteel hardtop complete with headliner ,back window & vent windows . The exsisting upholstery is tan and the original intention of the project was to install black leather. the original color was 703 Meissen blue. All of the exterior trim & bumpers are new. |
