| Remarks owner: | This 1500 GS was delivered to Venezuela in 1958 to the owner of the Porsche dealership there. It was raced in the Grand Prix for sport cars in Caracas that same year. Dick Weiss found the car in the back of a used car lot in San Antonio, Texas in 1960. The car has been restored by Marvin Simes and is now in its original light ivory with a green vinyl interior and oatmeal carpet. The original engine has been restored by owner Dick Weiss himself. Since restoration was finished in 1999 it has been driven locally and out of town to different events. |
