| Remarks owner: | This Carrera Speedster was raced in Europe before it came to the US. Don Wester raced this car in 1961-1962. Here you can see him at Santa Barbara in September. He finished 2nd to fellow Northern Californian Paul Reinhart. Don Wester raced the car until it was sold to a party in Spokane, Washington. Mr. Robert Smith later bought the car from a fellow in Tacoma, Washington. At that time the car had a 904 engine and a Carrera 2 transaxle. In the early 80\'s Mr. Smith sold it to Lothar Hoess. Elevenparts AG Switzerland had the car for sale in 1999. This information was on their website: \Aquamarine blue/black, this is a 100 point concourse car, correct 692/3 engine, 12 V, good racing history (Nürburgring 1000Km 1959 etc.) Car in USA.
