| Remarks owner: | This car was modified shortly after arriving in the UK to include RSR flares and uprated engine to 2.8. It has extensive motorsport history, was used in rallying by driver Geoff Crabtree, in Ireland in the mid 70's, where it was a front running car in Donegal and Manx rallies for example. Documented in Mark Copeland's book, \The Porsche 911 in Irish Rallying\". Later it was raced on track by Keith Russell in UK Pirelli champioships in the mid to late 1980's. The car was sponsored by Pirelli, wore the livery and had fresh engine cases fitted. The original engine cases are with the car and serviceable. It is now fully restored to delivery spec and enjoying bit by bit extensive detailing to make sure that as far as possible every part is original, date stamped and correct." |
