| Remarks owner: | According to the Four-Cam Register, in 1971 Larry Meyers from Yampa Colorado was the owner of this Carrera speedster. He wanted to sell the car without an engine. Larry Meyers owned the car throught the 1960\'s and in the early 70\'s it was sold to Tim Herman in North Carolina, who kept it during the 1970\'s and 80\'s. Herman sold to Dr. Bill Jackson from Denver CO. Bob Hartwell purchased it from him later and # 84948 was restored by T.G. Restorations. It returned to its original red with black interior. When the car was finished, Bob Hartwell had decided to stop showing cars and it was purchased by the current owner, Ranson Webster, from Reno. It has a correct but non-original 693/3 engine. |
